Levi (USA) celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at a 15th century, uniquely designed synagogue in Northern Israel. Guests were welcomed by the sounds of local klezmer musicians, and after a heart-warming ceremony, marched the streets of Old Safed in song and dance. Next stop was the location of the dinner and dance, and boy did we make mouths drop in awe – a stunning outdoor patio surrounded by a rich, galilee mountain view. The guests enjoyed a cocktail as the sun set before their eyes, delicious local food and dancing to a band who sang a variety of Jewish ethnic music originating from all over the world.
