Jacob (UK) had his Bar Mitzvah Torah reading at the Huldah Stairs located on the Southern side of the Western Wall. This special area was formerly the gates leading to the Jerusalem Temple. Musicians led the way from the VIP bus to the Wall in song and dance. It was a hot sunny day, and guests were happy to see the colourful display of personalised umbrellas waiting for them. They sat facing a breathtaking view to the singing voice of Yossi Azulay who gave everyone goosebumps, especially when he sang ‘Im Eshkachech Yerushalayim’. A delicious lunch awaited them at a stunning glass-walled restaurant with a view of the Jerusalem mountains.
